Overview

Glowday, a boutique wellness studio, took most bookings by phone — and lost every caller who gave up on hold. Bookwise gives them a template where the path from landing to booked takes under a minute: service picker, live availability, confirmation, and reminders.

We kept the stack deliberately light — Tailwind, Alpine, and managed forms — so the studio can run the whole site without a developer on retainer.

The challenge

Booking flows fail on friction: too many steps, unclear pricing, no confirmation. The studio’s previous page buried the booking button three scrolls deep and asked for an account before showing a single time slot.

Our approach

We mapped the flow on paper first and cut it to three taps: pick a service, pick a time, confirm. Pricing is visible before the first tap. Forms validate inline with plain-language errors, and every submission lands in the studio’s inbox and booking sheet simultaneously.

“Weekend bookings doubled. The site pays for itself every single week.” — Glowday Studio

Deliverables

  • Service catalog with transparent pricing and durations
  • Three-tap booking flow with inline validation
  • Automated confirmation and reminder emails
  • Reviews and FAQ sections tuned for local search
  • Staff handbook for managing availability and services

Outcome

Online bookings overtook phone bookings within six weeks of launch, and no-shows dropped thanks to automatic reminders. The template has since been reused for two more studios in the group.
